The SCHS Annual Meeting

The Steele County Historical Society convenes an annual meeting of our members each November. During this meeting, we discuss Society business, go over the accomplishments of the past year, discuss the future of the Society, and elect new board members. This meeting is also an opportunity for our members to meet the SCHS board of directors and staff.

If you are interested in joining us at our annual meeting, please contact the History Center as the date of the meeting approaches. Come back to this page as it will be updated with the current year's date and agenda as the meeting's date draws closer. The meeting will also be advertised in local media two weeks prior to the event.

At the 2023 Annual Meeting SCHS' membership approved a by-law change moving the Annual Meeting to March of the following year. This will allow the organization to complete a full fiscal year before presenting our financials and impact totals to our membership. The 2024 Annual Meeting will be March 20, 2025.
