Volunteer Committees:
SCHS is seeking current organization members to help guide the organization's operations. By joining a committee, you can help plan and implement events and programs, care for the collections, assist with marketing and promotion, financial planning, and building and maintenance. Each committee's responsibilities and meeting schedules vary.

Board of Directors:
The Steele County Historical Society is seeking a dynamic individual to join the organization's Board of Directors.
​
Interested parties must be a resident of Steele County. We are currently seeking a representative from either Deerfield, Meriden, Lemond, Medford, Clinton Falls, Merton, Somerset, Berlin, or Summit Townships. Interested parties must be at least 16 years old.
Archives and Collections Volunteers:
The Steele County Historical Society utilizes volunteers to help research, catalog, and maintain our collections.
Interested parties will work closely with our Collections Manager to help with research requests, inventory, transcribe, and maintain artifacts and records. Training is provided to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your role.
